Today we got Prinny a new cage! It is the perfect size for her and she is really enjoying it! She looks so funny with no tail (she and Pita need to start a support group for the tail impaired). But I got some pictures of her in it. I also got some pics of Scarlett exploring the great outdoors.

Beautiful pics Tiffany!! That's a mansion for Prinny! Those pics of Scarlett are great! Love the first one & the the one with her by the yellow flowers!

I think the first two photos of Scarlett are wonderful and they would be great entries for the Parrots at Play calendar.

LOL, their cages are stuffed full of stuff! Scarlett's breeder used to whistle the theme song to Sanford and Son everytime I came to visit, toys in hand of course! Spoiled birds!

What a treat - Spring really is coming :yahoo: - Loved the apple blossoms - looked so great it made me wish i was up that tree.

Prinny is so lucky - what a cute bird - even or because of the lack of tail [maybe she likes the short tail look & wants to be like Scarlet???]

How well does using the harness work, with the flying? How far can she fly?

LOL, I thought the same thing! Maybe Prinny really likes Scarlett's tail look! :lol:

And she is still learning to fly and really doesn't fly great distances. We were playing "toss the birdie" outside with her (which she LOVES!). The leash works really well because it is stretchy and so when she reaches the end she doesn't come falling down, she can sort of turn and land. She can only fly maybe three or four feet on it, not really sure how long it is. We need a bigger yard to practice flying in, our neighborhood is really crowded with houses and not much yard.
