Well, we worked on the greys room today. We put the cabinets back in and I got a different counter top, because they no longer stocked the green.
I dont have a sink in yet, not sure I want one only because with two downstairs and only the greys upstairs, not sure how much I will use it.
I use the dishwasher now for their dishes.
Here is a pic of during and after. IT is NOT painted yet, nor done, but the cabinets are in, and useable. Soon I will paint it and finish it all up.
I used some tiles I had with Greys on them. I have to get one more plain white tile, because I broke one(ok 3) while doing it....
however, All the knobs now have greys on them because a friend who also moved, gave me the ones she ordered the same time I did.
so here is the work in progress.

**LOL** thanks guys.....its coming along....off to home depot to get more tiles today because of the ones I broke, and I need to make some sort of border as I am not happy with how it looks.
I didnt want to paint anything till I paint the entire room. this way its done in one shot. so off to the paint store as well to look through paper borders for the walls. I'm just not up to the big undertaking of painting that room just yet. Where she has all the butterflies attached, the paint and top layer of Drywall comes off with the glue she used. there is going to be alot of sanding I have to do before painting!
and to the food store:doh:
I got the tiles from a woman on Ebay who made my canisters, knobs, a soap pump, and the tiles for me for my OLD house in North Jersey when I was redoing it. They sat unused since 04.

Looks nice :)
Can you recommend a brand of paint? One of these days I might get around to painting some of the rooms in my apt. Beetle would likely go stay at the 'rents for a few days but still... I'm unsure as to whether one brand/type of paint is safer than another, you know?

thanks everyone!
Yes, Its Benjamin moore Eco spec. most dealers dont stock because it is a bit more expencive, but usually gets it in, in 2-3 days. I cant detect any odor. Even my husband had to walk into the room to find I was painting.
Dries real quick and this is my 3rd place I am painting with birds being in the house. I do keep them in another room, and a fan in the window, just because.
Low VOC things for your home~Does not mean it is 100% safe, and you need to use caution. However, I use Benjamin Moore Eco Spec® paint for my home projects.
Benjamin Moore Introduces Eco Spec® Clean Air Formula Paint for Environmentally Sensitive Spaces
Benjamin Moore & Co. introduces Eco Spec® paint, a professional quality, premium interior 100% acrylic latex paint system designed for both residential and commercial spaces where environmental concerns about air quality during application are a priority.
Eco Spec® paint is formulated to address the needs of the architectural and interior design communities, facility and maintenance specifiers, and professional contractors when specifying and applying clean air formula products are necessary. The Eco Spec® paint formula contains no solvents which release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air. Both oil-based and conventional latex paints contain solvents that allow for the paint to be applied at a normal rate without drying rapidly. It is the solvents which give off the "painterly smell" associated with painting. Eco Spec® paint has virtually no odor during application, has a very short open time, and dries rapidly. This rapid dry allows for a space to be painted and put back into use within two hours after the job is completed. No residual paint smells exists.
"Eco Spec® paint’s quality performance and competitive price make it the ideal choice for jobs where environmental concerns exist about conventional paint odor and VOC emissions, and when there is a desire to reduce job site downtime," notes Jim S. Gorman, senior product manager for Benjamin Moore & Co.
Eco Spec® paint, a complete clean air formula interior paint system with a primer and three top coat finishes, flat, eggshell and semi-gloss, is offered in white and over 1000 custom colors.
Benjamin Moore & Co. is headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey and since 1883 is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of quality paints and stains. For additional in-formation on Eco Spec® paint, visit your local, authorized Benjamin Moore® retailer. For the retailer nearest you call 1-800-826-2623 or visit our web site's Retail Store Locator.
Emily, I got the knobs off of Ebay. she used to be able to do any bird. She is not any more expencive then knobs at home depot. I think mine were about 4 each.
I will find her on Ebay tonight, and write her to see if she is still doing it if you would like.....
Here is another (better) shot I took today after finishing the tile work and unpacking a few more "Grey" things. I think I also picked out the paint. I have a feeling I will be painting sooner than I had thought. I will get sick of it being HALF done.

I found these, but they are not by her. Are you looking for Greys? IF so I have to look through Geo;s computer for old emails. While I know I met her on Ebay, Because it was a special order, I did not ORDER through ebay.
And that is why I couldnt find her in my feedback.
