I've been watching my GCC pair lately while I've been outside (yes finally they got kicked out) and they are so funny. Just like an old married couple. They were doing this 69 grooming thing, Juanita ended up with one of Fidels tail feathers, then there was this 5 minute battle over who was claiming ownership over the damn feather. Fidel got his feather back. Bit later Juanita goes and gets herself a piece of fruit to eat. Fidel can't be bothered so tries so pinch it off her. Eventually after a minor battle he gets it, she glares at him and goes to get another piece and then stays at the fruit and veg dish so he has to come down if he wants anymore. Between these little battles of wills they snuggle and preen. If a stranger goes near the aviary Juanita starts flirting before lunging to bite the poor unfortunate who's put their finger in there while Fidel is sitting there puffed up and swaying being big and tough. I just about wet myself watching these two in action sometimes. Then again maybe I'm just easily amused.:lol:
