not too loud concidering he is Parritlet/Scarlet Macaw. Not sure what to do tho as he won't eat anything!! And Sophie is scared of him.

have you tried treats? maybe a bath?... well he looks shiny as is... not sure he needs it... maybe sophie just needs a little time to warm up.... sometimes that takes a little... but who knows, she might forget benji over icarus

He's erm.. very shiny isn't he? I didn't know that there was a hybrid macaw/parrotlett. How very rare, and very lucky for you!

Jim, congrats! He is adorable! :love:

Just a few words of advice. You really shouldn't have his perch out there in the living room as he could make quite a mess. He doesn't have nearly enough toys and you KNOW how easily bored Fids can get! :yikes: This could lead to plucking disorders and he does have such lovely feathers! :littleangels:

oh, he's not in the living room, he is in our BEDROOM!!! He doesn't like toys anyway!! He is a regular perch potato.
