:toofunny: I don't even want to know what that smells like!!

That reminded me of what my sister says to the kids when taking their picture. To get them to smile, she says 'pickled farts and bumblebees!' They laugh everytime!

Stainless steel can be destroyed.

I guess i was pretty sidetracked over the Xmas holidays & let my large pot boil dry - with nothing in it. I smelt this funny smell .... the calcium or lime in the water is now permanently bonded to the metal inside & the bottom - well it will never look the same again!
I hang my pots on one kitchen wall - so now it looks like one has a canker. I had to use my hammer to bang it flat & now it doesn't slide on the burner anymore. So I guess it was very close to melt-down. As I did it - i have to replace it & right now i still feel too 'foolish' [translation:quilty] to get a new one.

When i told my Mother about it we had quite a laugh. I can't tell you the number times i saw my mother toss brunt pots in the snow drifts around the house or in buckets of water on the back porch! :toofunny:
