BIRD FIRST AID SEMINAR IN NJ

on September 16th, a Thursday, at 7:00, Red Bank Vet Hospital will be having a FREE seminar on bird and small animal first aid. Drs Brown and Strunk will be presenting, and this will be a great opportunity for us to learn how to handle emergencies with our birds. While there is no fee, please call 732-747-3636 to make reservations.


I called today to make my reservation, tho red bank wasnt sure just how to reserve yet. I have to call Dr Brown(my vet) back in 2 hours.....anyone interested in goin? I will make your reservations along with mine if so.

I'd love to go as I've been anxious to check out RBVH... I have to chat w/ the boss-folk, though. Thursdays are tricky for me as I have office hours from 2-10pm and then work from home overnight.

If I can go, I'll make a reservation myself and let you know ;)

Lucky NJ people! I have been bugging the Parrot Society here to do a bird first aid course for months with no luck.

right now I have two reservations. however, After I get my email I sent out to some other NJ people, I will call back and reserve more.(most likely tomorrow)
I asked Dr B to have this seminar back on the BB days. I told her that we needed something like this, and I will also ask her about videoing it for people out of state.

The reason we do have alot of seminars and continuing education here in NJ is because we have some awnery people who push for it from time to time.:whistle: Bird Paradise has been more then gracious to hold events there for the public, and luckily from being in the bird world a LONG time, I know alot of people. so between their hospitality and my big mouth, things get done.

It took me a few days to get ahold of Karen, who is taking reservations for the seminar.
however, her DIRECT line to make reservations is 732-747-3636 ext 1733 or 1732 is another person who is taking them too.
