really she does. My strong willed self reliant not so little girl. Had the fids out last night for awhile playing with them. Came time for Sophie time and had her on the couch. Well she likes to walk across the back to see Kelly, preen her hair a second then go see whats on the table. Well Kelly is scared Sophie is going to give her a hair cut so its rare Sophie gets any farther then that on her mission. Kelly usually steps Sophie up and hands her back to me. Kelly had surgery so I am just not letting Sophie get by me. Every time she gets to my hand I tell her no and pick her up and bring her to the other side.
Well Sophie just ain't having nothing to do with this!! She stomps (yes she actually stomps!) back over to me arm and bites me!! So up she goes into my hand across the living room and back in her cage. Oh man did this PISS her off!! She let out a short burst scream I hadn't heard before, put her head down, puffed up her feathers and her cheeks, I know she is mad when she does this but damn she is so cute when she does it!! She runs over to the side of the cage I am at and beaks the bars in my direction letting me know whats what!! So I bend over to the cage and we have a 10 second stare down as I tell her I'm mad too because she bit me!!
Ok, now picture this part, see, due to watching Sophie I have puffed up my cheeks too when I told her about being mad!! I started belly laughing at the whole thing. Of course Kelly thought I was nuts and two minutes later Sophie was giving her good night cuddles to me................
