I got Tweety when he was 8+ yrs.. and was neglected and cage bound .. with no human interaction for almsost 5 years.. except for to be grabbed from cage weekly and shoved in a shoe box.. so cage could be cleaned... he was about to be release in the wild.. when I took/rescued him...the scritches lover extrortinairy.. will let anyone love on him now... loving fid whore bird... :giggle:

I got Freyja.. right after my dental surgery.. having ALL teeth pulled/cut out at once..still on MAJOR meds... she was an impulse buy at local flea market.. and was over 3 months old.... and not really socialized/tame..... but she is my feathered magnet now... ;) :hifive:

This baby pearl tiel.. will be my FIRST planned fid........ much less a socialized/friendly fid.... :woohoo:
