Another IRN on the way

As you may remember I lost my IRN back when Diego was sick. Mallee has been quite down since then and I've been tossing up about getting her another companion. She's an Australian ringneck, placid little soul and as much as I'd love a rosella I think it would just be too aggressive with her. Made the decision to get another IRN as that's what Mallee was used to. Rang the guy I got my suns and blue brats from and he's got a pastel grey lacewing that's just started weaning. I love the colour of these guys. It's like a pastel grey back ground with pale green, blue and yellow flecked through. They're also known as "rainbows". Will pop down Thursday and probably finish off handraising it. As it will be a young one Mallee can also take it under her wing so to speak.

Please post some pics, Abby. I've seen many of the mutations of IRNs but not that one. I would love to see it. I'm glad to hear little Malee will have some company but sorry hear Bhanu never returned. I was wondering about it, but just didn't get around to asking. Seems like we were always talking about other things. I'm sorry not to have inquired earlier! Most embarrassing!!

What color is that in US terms. I get so confused with all the new terms. I haven't learned them all yet.

I'm not too sure. I'm thinking grey rainbow also known as Grey parblue lime. Don't quote on this though. He's also got a creamino that I'm thinking about. I guess I'll make the decision come Thursday when I see the little ones.
