Pita's been at it for an hour...almost has it completely unrolled.....gotta love it. Looks like his playstand has been papered...lol

I kinda had the same idea with register receipt rolls. I noticed some of the online bird toy places sell them and its a little pricey. So we were at Home Depot doing the self check out and the machine ran out of receipt paper. So the girl comes over to replace it and it still had tone of paper on it! So I asked if I could have it. She took my name and number and said she would save them up for me. So about a week ago I get a call from her and they had a huge bag for me! The fids love it! Its interesting to see how each one destroys it different. Buddy shreds, Afa just unrolls it and screams at it! But if anyone tries this with any female, get the shredded stuff out because of nesting!

I use receipt tape in almost every cage at home and at the rescue. I buy it by the case at Sam's and hang it with a big plastic bead at each end and a rawhide strip. The wild quakers can go through a roll in one night. i come in the morning and the huge cage is papered end to end. Boy do they scream when I clean it up LOL
BTW never use printed tape from a register. Only the rolls of plain white untreated paper.
