A FAMILY are facing eviction after their parrot upset neighbours — by yelling “Show us your knickers” as they passed.
Sparky the African grey can also be heard swearing loudly from her perch in the front room.
Now housing officials have warned tenant Paula Bedford to make Sparky button it — or else.
But Paula, 35, said: “How do you tell a parrot to mind her language?

“Sparky’s a real character and never shuts up.
“She likes to look out of the window at people passing by. Most people just laugh it off. She does shout ‘w****r’ from time to time, though.”
Sparky belongs to Paula’s lodger Vinnie James, 43, who has had her for 15 years.
He insisted: “I haven’t been teaching her swear words but she seems to have picked up a few.”
A neighbour in York said: “I’m not bothered but one lady in the street did make a complaint when it said, ‘Show us your knickers’.”
Mum-of-three Paula has been in trouble with the council before over noise and is now on a final warning. A spokeswoman added: “The parrot issue was discussed.”
