The cage is awesome! I am just wowed!
I have never seen an A&E cage before and I think they are beautiful! Very well made and the design is stunning!

Maxi was wowed also. I let her on and in to explore but we still have some work to do with platforms and perches. I will feed her on the top opening from now on. Maxi and I thought the toys were really cool also! She can't wait to rip up the basket toy!
Thank you so much!!

BTW excuse my pictures. I had an off day and seemed to be tilting a lot LOL
Pictures: Maxi and her cage
My husband and son putting the cage together and then realizing they put the door in the back! They had to take it apart and redo it.

While Maxi waited she ate lunch. I included a picture of what lunch looked like before it got on her beak.

I missed a picture. Here she is looking around. She is admiring her cathedral ceilings. She is kind of in shock going from a long wire cage on a counter top to this. Kind of like going from a shack into a mansion!

I just wanted to let you know Maxi moved into her new cage permanently today.
I knew yesterday it was time to move her. bandit the nanday decided he liked the basket toy in the cage and went in to chew on it. Maxi was sitting on my lap and went nuts. She started pushing my hands away, leaning towards the cage and shreiking. She wanted Bandit out of the cage and off of her toy that second! She knows it is her cage and toys, she was more then happy to move in today. That way she can protect it from the other birds LOL I did not have my camera today but will send pictures of the decorated cage tomorrow.

She seems better. I don't see any feather picking at all anymore.
She did rub or pick a sore in her stomach while I was gone but it is healing up quickly now. I think it is more nerves and habit now that we have to break.
If I see her itching her sore I tell her NO and she stops.

She sure is a clever little girl - hope the cage makes a big difference in her life & yours. She's pretty lucky right now.
