Doyle learned something new this morning, his new thing is saying "What", lol. He knows how to say alot of things and at 8 months old I didn't expect him to say much or anything at all. Everytime he says something new I think that has to be the last thing he says because it's so unusual that a Nanday would talk like him. Granted it isn't the clearest voice, lol. So what can your bird say or what do they say the most?

Yeahhhh :blush: I've only heard Jerry say her real name, Josie, one time - every single night when he's out he asks where Bitchy is (the cats get locked into a bedroom when the birds are out). And he's constantly saying that he wants to kiss B, and I've even heard him say he wants to EAT B....:blush: I tell him he's only allowed to LOOK at B - no kisses and no eating! :lol: He also meows in B's voice too :lol:

Zoey kind of says hello, sounds like "you hoo" but its hello.
Sophie patterns "step up" and that is what she wants to say but she just doesn't get the words out yet. I swear I heard her say "god damn it!!" just like Kelly does when she messes up her nails.

Afa my G2 says, Afa bird!! I didnt do it! I dont know!! DAD DAAAAD!!! I love you, Hello hello, Hi oooin! How ya doin, hello allo allo allo, and is currently having long mumbling sentences that I cant figure out. Last summer she would sit on my shoulder out on the porch (she well clipped!) Whne people would walk by she would scream "HELLLLLOOOOO!!! HELLLOOO!"

Buddy the Cag, says hundreds of things. Right now hes out there saying, "Poop! Poopy!! WHEEEW...(whistled a tune..oh, now the rooster) Hey, Mr Buddy, Mr Buddy Boy! Step up, oh, ok (phone rings, he answers..hello?) Gimme kiss! I love you...It goes on ALL DAY! He never shuts up actually. But last night he was on my shoulder and I was stacking bowls inside each other and put them back in the cabinet. He said " hahaaa COOL!" A few months back he was with my husband and said "John...JOHN! sssstupid asssss!" John almost fell on the floor. This guy is a riot! The first week I had him he was out on his perch and said "sssstupid bastard, Ill be needin a ssssssip of water!" So I jumped up and let him drink from my water glass, then he laughed at me, followed by "soda!" I dont gibe him soda but keep in mind, we just got him last July and found out in Dec he is 6 yrs old.

Alex the RB2 is quiet but is saying kiss kiss, step up! and has started a big belly laugh.

Occy the male Ekkie is soooo cute! He says "HIYAAAA HONNNN!!!! Afa bird, and last night said how ya doin?

They all mimic and tease each other. Buddy is the worse. Since Ive been sick it seems all I do is clear my throat. So Buddy, what does he do, clear his throat whenever he sees me. As a matter of fact he's doing it now. I could go on all day with this stuff!!

valo doesn't really speak clearly... he more mutters around... he says something that sounds like "mama" "baby" and "come here" at the same time?! :eek:

he's a champ with the kissing sounds though... first thing in the morning, my boy blows me a whole bunch of little kisses

OMG, I have to record him for you guys! He says so much I cant write it all for you. After I wrote the last post I had to make a few phone calls, which is always the magic button to make him talk. So I have someone on the phone going over a bill, Buddy chimes in "makes the phone ring then answers it "Hello!, hi hon, oh, ok, alright, you want me to stop payment on that? ok, 554 zzzzero zzzero 5455...ok, sssure, alright hon, ok bye (kissing, smooching sounds) ok, love you bye" The first day I met him, he looked at me and made dripping water sounds. I knew he was cool after that! During the first days when he came home, I was alone with him cleaning his cage and he scared the crap out of me. My first time hearing his voice was a whisper. He leaned close and said right in my ear "hey" I almost jumped out of my pants! He went on to say "wanna go for a ride? lets go on a road trip! get calypso, cmon, lets go. Why is that dog barking? Get that stupid dog!" One day Ill never forget he says, shit! damn you stink! I didnt mean it, you're super!

Last night I was doing wash, and he loves to hassle the laundry basket! He gets down off his perch whistles at it, kisses it says "I love you" and rubs his beak on it. Really weird stuff. So, I had just put stuff in the dryer, went across the hall to the powder room. Im on the toilet, and here his nails clicking across the floor headed towards the powder room whistling the Andy Griffith tune. I reach over and opened the and there he was looking at me! I said "Buddy! what are doing in here?" His response a big ole cat call! "whoooot whooooo!" Good thing I was already on the toilet or I would have peed myself! I felt so violated!! lmao..

I have tried to video him, standing on top of Afa's cage barking at her. He attacked the camera. I got a little of him but its dark and the sound is low. I could put that one in the photo bucket and see how it looks. Im trying to post a video of afa now, but when you open it, my entire photobucket comes available. Now theres some things in there, I just dont want y'all ta see!

I'd love to see Buddy in action too!! Maybe you could at least get audio of him talking. I use a digital voice recorder to record Jerry talking - it's about the size of an iPod and even though he talks right into the mic (when I press Record he usually says "That's me, birdie-budgie!" :lol:), sometimes I'll set it next to his cage when he's mumbling to his bells and he won't notice.
