Wow that would be quite the surprise. We have a lot of these birds in the country. I've never known them to be aggressive. Maybe just the city ones are. We have Barn Swallows that are fun to watch. They will go after the cats if they get to close to their nests.

I have been attacked a few times while fresh water fishing. It usually happened if we drifted too close to the shore line with the boat.
