Some of you saw the article on the main website http://www.featheredandfree.com/Projeto_Arara_Azul.php
and this one (VERY photo intensive and takes several minutes to download, make yourself some coffee) http://www.featheredandfree.com/Pantanal.php
Last month while the forums were down, I got an email from Neiva Guedes, the manager of the Blue Macaw Project in the Pantanal with some excellent news! :yahoo: Chris, the hyacinth macaw who was rescued from the jaws of death by a Pantanal cowboy has been seen around the Caiman Ecologico Lodge and in the general area and she is doing very well. :yahoo: She is easy to identify because they put a band on her leg when they released her. She also sent me these two photos of Chris, isn't she gorgeous? Looks like she has a boyfriend too!
