Umm you should see Prinny's "tail"! She has maybe 2 1/2 feathers, lol. And it looks all jagged. Her tail really is a mess.

Charley let go of his whole tail one day when I accidently rolled the cage wheel over it while trying to catch him. I didn't know that tiels could do that and felt terrible and blubbered to him how sorry I was etc. When I told Lynda what I had done, she laughed at me and told me it was " an emergency release" trigger that tiels could do at will. His tail grew back longer and more gorgeous than ever!

Awwww, poor little Pita! I would gladly send him some feathers if he needs a "weave"! He's so cute tail or no tail anyway!

He's just such a goofball. Having no tail means he falls alot, because he has no tail...it's a catch 22.....I love his wee bald butt though...lol

lets just say that her early days were filled with clumsiness beyond belief. She loves to jump and doesn't always make a graceful landing. I am happy to say that she has gotten MUCH better at it!!

Jerry had a horrendous tail when his wings were clipped because every time he would attempt to fly and then crash, he would land on his butt and smoosh all of his tail feathers! They were bent and ragged.
And Jac, I almost took a pic of his tail last night because it is now *finally* looking tight again! :woohoo:

LMAO Ah Jim that reminded me sooo much of my nanday. He lost ALL of his tail feathers...they can loose them like a lizard does.
A stupid neighbor's cat jumped at the window, scared him and he left his tail behind! I had a nanday with a duck butt for the longest time

Gayla, have you considered trying that Avian Trio I told you about? I swear, it does something to the feather growth!
