Default A Youtubers Comment :(

I have a video on Youtube that has close to 80,000 hits called Cockatoo Bird Bite.

This was the latest comment:
I hope you wacked that bird for not being submissive to you. You must teach your birds that you have higher authority, and they will not dare to cause such bodily harm. That is unacceptable for a bird, unless you abused him and he defended. I would take him away from his female until the lesson is clear. You must always respect a bird's beak, it's a gift from God. They must respect a human's authority. They maybe wild, but they must be tamed to live with humans.

My response:
Tika "was" abused for the first 10 years of his life. Probably by someone just like you. Your understanding of bird behavior fits on the head of a pin with plenty of room to spare.

What an idiot! I sure hope that person doesn't have any birds.

That bite looks really painful!

It's so sad how many people don't "get it" when it comes to animals, and especially birds.

Your answer says it all. I hope you heal quickly. You have a wonderful space for your birds.
You also have a great understanding into their behavior.
