Interview with Dr Susan Friedman on parrot behaviour
This is the first interview I did at the Parrots 2008 conference last week so I would like to open this discussion on the science of parrot behaviour by introducing Dr Susan Friedman as she discusses some of the topics she covered in her two lectures during the conference. My focus was to further clarify some of the points she made about antecedents, behaviour and consequence and put them into situations we frequently see here on the board with our own companion parrots.

Here are some key points Dr Friedman made during her lectures. Although I am only a poor substitute (having attended all her lectures), I will try to help with any questions. Keep an eye out for Dr Friedman at your local parrot conference and don't miss her if she comes to your area!
